Divario P-18 is a removable furniture connector for sliding in. The groove is milled with the groove milling machine Zeta P2 or a CNC machining centre and the connector is anchored into the workpiece within seconds with interlocking P-System grooves. When inserted, the Divario P-18 clamps the workpieces together, ensuring neatly closed joints. The tension build-up occurs only at specific points and not over the entire insertion length, simplifying insertion. As no lever or eccentric has to be operated, assembly is very efficient and the connector is invisible. if a piece of furniture or a shelf is made with several fixed pull-out shelves or partitions, the Divario P-18 can be used to connect the outer frame first. Then the inner parts, i.e. partitions or structural floors, are inserted piece by piece. Thus, a book wall can be transported in individual parts or only as a simple frame to save space and reduce weight. On site, the shelves are simply pushed into place. Due to the force-locked connection between the components, the joint can handle high tensile forces. For example, a vertical centre beam can stably connect the bottom of a hanging shelf and carry the load. A groove is milled in the front of the pull-out shelf so that the workpiece can be slid over the protruding connection half in the side. The small groove at the back of the board can be distracting when making a board visible from both sides. For this purpose, a longitudinal groove is applied on both sides so that the joint is completely hidden on all sides. In this application, the pull-out shelf is not retracted afterwards, but is placed on it during rack assembly and shifted until it clicks into place.
